Article: Effect of perinatal exposure to Bisphenol-A on DNA methylation and histone acetylation in cerebral cortex and hippocampus of postnatal male mice. By D Kumar & MK Thakur.

Researchers investigated the impact of perinatal BPA exposure on DNA methylation and histone acetylation in postnatal mice. Their results demonstrate that BPA exposure induces epigenetic changes, including an increase in histone H3 acetylation and a decrease in 5-mC DNA. It's suspected that these changes may contribute to the lasting effects of BPA on brain function and behavior. In the study, EpiGentek antibodies H3K14ac and 5-mC were used in the analysis.
