Stellaris¢ç FISH Probes, eGFP with Quasar¢ç 570 Dye consists of a set of dye-labeled oligos mixed and pooled into a final delivered amount of 5 nmol, which yields approximately 200-400 hybridizations under standard conditions. Designed to detect eGFP transcripts in specimens using fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH). Design Criteria: Product was designed against enhanced Green Fluorescent Protein eGFP a.k.a. eGFP; GFP (NCBI gene ID:N/A) and nucleotides 289-1005 of U76561. This is an inclusive probe set designed to also detect: pCMS eGFP Clontech PT3268-5pEF eGFP Addgene Plasmid 11154pCEFL eGFP Addgene 38121pME/pE eGFP Addgene 36410pRSET-emGFP Invitrogen V353-20eYFPeCFPBFP (invitrogen)mTurqoise. This design has been tested in cell culture and frozen mouse brain tissue using Quasar 570 dye-labeled probes and found to produce the expected signal. The probe set has not been tested for potential cross-hybridization to RNA(s) of paralogous and orthologous gene(s) in the same or other species.

Please note that reconstituted probe mix should be subjected to a minimum number of freeze-thaw cycles. For daily and short-term use, the mix can be stored at +2 to +8 ¡ÆC in the dark for up to a month. For long-term use: We recommend freezing reconstituted probes in the dark at -15 to -30 ¡ÆC for storage lasting longer than a month.
